We’re very proud that a good number of our community have been with us a long time. When we launched, we had a very clear mission – to create a world class float centre in London, and spread the magic of floating to as many people in London as possible.

In just 3 months we became the highest-rated float centre in the UK, and our spacious, state-of-the-art pods played a big part in that.

We’ve been cautious about adding therapies, wanting to make sure we only add services where that can make a positive impact on people’s lives, with a real body of evidence to support their benefits (there is too much misinformation out there, and we care deeply about having a profoundly impactful, and honest service).

As part of our next chapter, we’re super excited to announce that in early April, we’re officially opening the London Oxygen Suite. It’s Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), but not the kind you might have seen in clinical basements or cramped tubes.

Why this specific chamber?

We spent months reviewing different chambers. Most of them felt like climbing into a sleeping bag—claustrophobic and awkward. We chose our suite because it’s massive. It’s a space where you can actually stretch out, read a book, or even share the session with a friend.

More importantly, it hits 1.3-1.5 ATA pressure.

Without going too granular, the physics are simple: at 1.5 ATA, oxygen is physically forced into your blood plasma. This means life-giving fuel reaches areas—like deep muscle tissue or brain cells—that standard breathing just can’t get to.

Why HBOT?

The data that studies show around 1.5 ATA therapy is pretty incredible:

  • For the Athletes: Studies on high-intensity athletes have shown HBOT can cut recovery time by up to 33% by flushing out metabolic waste faster.

  • The “Biological Edge”: Research has linked this specific pressure to increased VO2 Max and better mitochondrial efficiency—basically, your cells produce more energy, more effectively.

  • Brain Power: It’s not just for the body. HBOT has been shown to increase cerebral blood flow by roughly 25%, which is why people report much sharper focus and “brain fog” lifting after a session.

  • Long-term Health: There’s even evidence that consistent protocols can help with cellular longevity by lengthening telomeres and clearing out “zombie” cells that contribute to aging.

Why we believe it’s such a great addition for Float Hub:

We’re also excited, as HBOT should work brilliantly with the services we already provide. While the benefits are distinct from float therapy and photobiomodulation/RLT, there’s compelling theory to combining it with both or either of them:

1. Red Light Therapy + HBOT

The Order: RLT → HBOT

This is about cellular efficiency.

  • How it works: Red Light (RLT) stimulates an enzyme in your mitochondria called cytochrome c oxidase. This basically “preps” your cells, making them more efficient at producing energy.

  • The benefit: By doing RLT first, your cells are “open” and ready. When you step into the Oxygen Suite at 1.5 ATA, your body can immediately use that massive influx of oxygen to ramp up ATP (energy) production.

  • The data: Consistent use of this protocol supports long-term health, with studies showing HBOT can actually help with cellular longevity by lengthening telomeres and clearing out “zombie” cells.

2. HBOT + Floating

The Order: HBOT → Floating

This is the best way to handle a “top-to-bottom” system recovery.

  • Fueling up first: We recommend starting in the London Oxygen Suite. Breathing 96% oxygen at 1.5 ATA floods your brain and tissues with fuel. Research shows this can increase blood flow to the brain by about 25%, which is why the “brain fog” clears so quickly. It’s also been shown to cut physical recovery time by up to 33% by flushing out inflammation.

  • The “integration” phase: Once your body is hyper-oxygenated, you move into the float pod. Because you’re now in a zero-gravity, distraction-free environment, your brain can shift into a Theta-wave state. This is when your nervous system actually “processes” the oxygen and repair signals from the session.

  • The Result: You get the physical recovery of the oxygen session, but you finish in a state of deep mental stillness.

3. The Full Triple Stack

The Order: RLT → HBOT → Floating

If you’re doing all three, follow the logic of “Prime, Fuel, Integrate”:

    1. RLT (Prime): Get the blood moving and stimulate the mitochondria.

    2. HBOT (Fuel): Flood those primed cells with high-pressure oxygen to speed up repair.

    3. Float (Integrate): Shut off the noise and let your body and brain finish the job in total quiet.

We’re officially opening the suite in early April. We’ve added some “Longevity Protocols” to the pricing page if you want to lock in these rates before we go live.

To get things moving, we’re offering a few pre-launch deals until March 31st:

Grab them while the rates are low, and we’ll see you in the suite this April.
