We’re incredibly excited to bring you another significant update on our journey back to reopening! It’s been a longer road than any of us anticipated, but we’re now on the cusp of the full reinstatement works, and can plan for the perfect relaunch from here.
Getting Ready for the Rebuild: The Final Steps
As you know, our priority has been a rigorous and thorough drying-out phase following the flood incident. This, coupled with the need for multiple stakeholders at Thames Water to approve budgets, has taken a little longer than initially hoped. However, we’re delighted to share that the final strip-out works have started this morning (May 28th). This is the last preparatory step before the real transformation begins.
A Fast Start to Reinstatement: From June 2nd!
We are delighted to confirm that from Monday, June 2nd, we will have a fast start to the reinstatement works. Our builders are ready to go, and you’ll soon see a hive of activity as Float Hub begins to take its new, improved shape.
Coming Back Better Than Ever
While the extended timeline has presented its challenges, it has also provided us with an invaluable opportunity. Thanks to careful planning and a better understanding of what it takes to operate a world-class float centre (gained from our years of experience that we didn’t have for the original launch), we’ve been able to integrate some significant improvements into the rebuild. This means that, within budget, we’re making changes that will ensure Float Hub returns better than ever before. We’re confident these enhancements will provide an even more exceptional float therapy experience for all of you.
Anticipated Reopening: Early August
Based on the upcoming works, we are now targeting an early August reopening. We know many have been waiting for this news, and we’re eager to welcome you back.
More Regular Updates & Our Sincere Thanks
Now that the physical work is about to be underway, we’ll be providing more regular updates on our progress. We want you to get a real sense of the transformation as it happens.
Finally, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible patience and understanding throughout this challenging period. Your messages of support have truly kept us going. As per our original communications, we will happily extend all sessions for the full length of time we’ve been closed – so anyone who had credits before we closed will be able to enjoy full use of our freshly updated float centre.
We can’t wait to open the doors to a new, improved Float Hub and welcome you all back to our sanctuary of relaxation and well-being.
