Hello Float Hub Community,
As some of you may know, we’ve recently experienced significant flood
damage at our beloved Float Hub. This has been an incredibly
challenging time for our team, and we know it’s been disruptive for
you too. We sincerely apologize for the delay in communicating the
full extent of the situation. We’ve been working tirelessly with
Thames Water’s insurers and loss adjusters to assess the damage and
plan the necessary repairs.
The good news is that we have an approved budget for the drying out
and restoration process. We’re committed to bringing Float Hub back
better than ever. It’s going to be a major task with all pods being
removed and reinstalled. We estimate that we’ll be able to reopen in
8-10 weeks, and we’ll keep you updated on our progress every step of
the way.
We know how important Float Hub is to so many of you – a sanctuary
from the stresses of daily life, a place for deep relaxation and
rejuvenation. That’s why we’re pouring our hearts into this
restoration project. We’re not just rebuilding; we’re looking forward
to enhancing our space and services so we can offer an even more
exceptional experience when we reopen. Our plans for growth and new
services later this year might be delayed but are still very much on the agenda, and we can’t
wait to share them with you.
The community aspect of Float Hub is what makes it truly special. Your
support means the world to us, and we’re so grateful for the
understanding and kindness you’ve shown during this difficult time. We
know that waiting is hard, but we promise that the tranquillity and
escape you’ve come to expect from Float Hub will be back soon.
